First I will explain what the water bottle is. As you can see from the photo, it is a water bottle. It has what they call the High-Flow Race Cap which makes it possible to just squeeze the bottle and a single stream of water comes out and then stops. No need to use your teeth or suck on to get water to come out.
The bottle it self is both insulated and reflective. It's nice because the reflective properties of the bottle make it an extra safety feature and the insulated bottle is designed to keep the liquid inside the bottle what ever temp you want and not affect your skin. Other than that the last feature would be the pocket on the front that can hold money a phone, or whatever fits. All of these features make it a bit more than just a water bottle, with a $35 pice tag, you would expect as much.
Initially I commented that I thought the water was a bit annoying sloshing around in the bottle as I ran, but I kind of forgot about it and it was a non-issue. I did notice that I really used the bottle a lot more while stopped. Whether it was at a light or whatever reason. I did use it while running of course too. I kinda wondered what it would be like to run with the bottle in the winter, with something warm in it.
Long story short if you are looking for a water bottle to run with, it's a good product. It did it's job, I drank from it, it was easy to refill and it wasn't annoy or uncomfortable. Nathan products hold up well, I have had an everyday use Nathan water bottle for over a year now and it is great.
