The Wave Inspire is a stability shoe. This was my first time running in the shoe, and I thought it was really nice. It had a good amount of support and was pretty cushioned. I forgot I was wearing it until just about mile 2. At about that time, I started to try to think about what I liked and didn't like about it. I didn't get very far before I forgot I was wearing it again. To me that is a good sign.
In total I think I ran 6 miles in the shoe and again I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. I would put the Wave Inspire in the same category as a shoe like the Asics 2000 or Nike Structure in terms of support.
Also, as part of the group run we were able to try some Mizuno Breath Thermo apparel, which is a material that Mizuno created to get warmer when it gets wet. I wore a long sleeve shirt and gloves. When I first walked outside I was a bit cool, but as I ran I warmed up quick. It was a nice shirt, and it was good to get a feel for how it ran.
